Two Dragons, a Sea Monster, and an Ice Gentleman

372715844_5082424e6c_b.jpgYesterday afternoon, parents and siblings gathered in the writing center to watch the premiere performance of "Giant Mutant Dragon's Birthday Surprise." The play, created during Talking Heads: A Puppet Play and Workshop, follows a scuba diver and his aqua dog underseas, where they run into trouble with two dragons, a sea monster, and an ice gentleman.

We're excited and pleased to announce that Nine Novels by Younger Americans has been published and is now for sale at the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. The Clay's the Thing

On Tuesday, students from the Shaping a Story workshop quickly set to work molding names into titles and credits for our next stop-animated short. We have an excellent roster of students, TAs, and instructors, which means this film is guaranteed to be at least as spectacular as the last - we can't wait to see what crazy tale this group creates!

Last year's Story Shapers produced this silent but deadly short, Help Me!, a film about a kingdom and a mysterious woman with an unusual knack for ridding the world of spotted bears:

Our drop-in students spent the last few days of 2006 predicting innovations for the new year - Khaled's sights are set on robotic sharks.
