Apeosauritis Explained
November 28, 2007
Sure, you've all heard of Apeosauritis, the ManWolfCow, and the Chocolate Tree. If you're especially in-the-know, you might even be familiar with the Piggess. But what do you really know about these odd disorders?
826NYC's latest publication, The Encyclopedia of Imaginary Disorders and Oddities, is fresh off the press, which means lucky readers can finally unlock the mysteries of what the Plantyous eats, where the Robotic Chair came from, and how Stylitis came about. For those who missed last night's lecture and Apeosaur demonstration (pictured right), visit our writing gallery for the exclusive details.
Molars, Mad Science, and Mildew.
November 06, 2007
Greetings Friends! It has been an exciting few weeks for 826ers everywhere. In case you have been suffering from a hypoactive hippocampus, Halloween has come and gone. Here at 826NYC, the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. morphed into the Villain Factory Outlet for one terrifying night only. If you were lucky, perhaps you stopped by and received a Ring Pop and a free dental extraction from our staff of oral surgeons and dental interns. Also, there was a smoke machine.
In other news, congratulations go out to the newest graduates of 826NYC's Laboratory of Mad Monster Science. 11 ambitious students created multiple monsters to frighten and subdue the world at large. Let us welcome the freshest faces in the fabrication and innovation of monsters/robots/wraiths/vampire fish: Dr. Dynamite, Dr. Dorothy 2, Dr. Xela, Dr. Crazy, Dr. Ghost, Dr. Bomb, Dr. Secret, Dr. Doom, Dr. Invader, Dr. Vampire, and Dr. Danger. Surely these are names that we will come to know and fear in no time at all.
Finally, some Mildew Gossip. Our fearless fungus infested leader was spotted on the G train this weekend. Our source claims that the moldy man was chewing his own toenails as he traveled. The worst part according to our mystery mole is there was an elderly woman with groceries standing nearby, and our havarti footed jefe didn’t even give up his seat. That’s so Mildew, y’all.
Be good, my friends. Be super.
