The first issue of STEW, The Magazine About Et Cetera, is now available! The writers, eleventh graders at the Secondary School for Journalism, celebrated STEW's release just last week at the 826NYC writing center. We are especially grateful to Seth Mnookin and our many sponsors who made our publication possible.

More Summer Workshops!

It's official - summer is here! We've just added three new workshops to this summer's roster. Keep reading for more details:

Starting July 1: Dance Dance Rock Band Hero!, taught by director Patrick Daughters and They Might Be Giants's John Flansburgh, challenges Brooklyn's best to create an original song and music video in just four sessions. No musical experience is necessary - but spaces are extremely limited (and the class begins next week!). Be sure to sign up today!

Starting July 13: Writing Short Fiction, taught by author Matthew Goodman (founding editor of Sonny Paine), focuses on plot and character development within the short story. Please click here to sign up!
