We hold monthly panel discussions for adults who want to write for a living or simply to improve their writing. The emphasis will be on the practicalities of getting one's work published—finding agents, getting valuable feedback, developing good work habits and sticking with them—generally, all the strategies important to a writer's life.
Each month, there will be a panel discussion conducted by writers, editors and agents—all volunteering their time. Topics covered will include inspirations, self-editing, navigating the publishing world, and everything in between. No details will be spared; all pertinent secrets will be revealed.
These are three-hour seminars offered to the first 60 adults who sign up. The cost is $50. As with all of our events, all proceeds go directly to student programming at 826NYC.
