The strength of our volunteer base allows us to provide in-school support for teachers in New York City classrooms. We send volunteers into New York City schools to support teachers with writing projects in their classroom. If you are a teacher and your students could use additional one-on-one help with any sort of writing project, please let us know what you’re working on, when, and where—and we’ll dispatch an enthusiastic batch of tutors to your school.
Please note: We are currently focusing our in-schools efforts on middle and high school students and schools. For elementary school programming, please visit our field trips page.
